APR will be offering MacDermid's line of solvent and thermal photopolymers, along with their full line of solvent and thermal platemaking equipment.
MacDermid Printing Solutions is based out of Atlanta, Georgia, with photopolymer manufacturing in Morristown, Tennessee. As leading innovators in the flexographic printing market, MacDermid won the 2011 FTA Technical Innovation Award for their LuX Plate Processing Technology. Their technical focus and constant product development makes MacDermid a great fit into the APR product portfolio.
Our customers who were once using Flint Group photopolymers have seen a seamless transition into the MacDermid product line– in most cases there have been very few changes to the processing times. We've been hearing positive feedback from the pressroom as well. The addition of MacDermid's product line also makes APR the only supplier to offer solvent, thermal, and aqueous platemaking technologies.
