BASF features its full Line of products for narrow web printing including the New nyloflex ART Photopolymer Plate Material for Conventional and Digital Applications & FAH for unsurpassed UV Printing

BASF has introduced a new plate, called ART, designed to be excellent for some of the toughest combination work - whether on paper, film or folding carton stock. This plate is suitable for either water based or many solvent-based inks.

ART is available in either a conventional format or for making digital plates (digiflex ART-D II). It comes in various thicknesses ranging from .045" to .112".

The plates excellent tonal range, softer durometer, and on-press durability makes this plate a must try for many tough to print applications requiring a forgiving yet tough flexo printing plate.

Graymills / Brookfield exhibits full line of Advanced Pumping Options and New Brookfield AST-100 in-line Viscosity Control System

Graymills will be exhibiting at booth #1212 their full line of advanced pumps, which are engineered to meet the delivery requirements of water-based and UV inks and coatings. Graymills combination of quality features is evident inside and out and is unmatched by any other ink pump manufacturer in the world.

Graymills will also be exhibiting the new Brookfield AST-100 Advanced Sensor direct in-line viscosity measurement unit. The is the newest innovation in in-line automated viscosity measurement and control featuring a new vibratory style sensor which generates a digital signal that is correlated to measure a wide range of viscosities:

Another product on display is Graymills' MegaMag Ink Magnet - MegaMAG is available for use in a Graymills Superflo filter and for use on a bracket for placing inside a tank or pail for superior protection against anilox scoring/damage. A rare earth magnet in a smooth stainless steel casing, with 10x the pulling power of a standard magnet, MegaMag is able to attract metal particles from any place within the filter body. MegaMag provides a level of protection never before available. MegaMag can save the time required to pull a damaged anilox roll out of service and replace it, as well as the high cost of repair. Unlike other rare earth magnets, MegaMags domed end is designed to easily release particles when cleaning.

Jalema Grafi-System Storage/Filing Solutions

Jalema is exhibiting many products at booth #1917 including the Grafi-System. The heart of Grafi-System consists of extremely sturdy and multifunctional files in a wide range of formats and designs. Because these files are filed laterally, that is diagonally, on a profile, they save up to 40% of the space taken up by traditional storage systems. Compared to filing cabinets, for example, you can store 3 to 4 times more files with Grafi-System on the same amount of floor space. What's more, the files are much easier - and therefore faster - to locate again. Space-saving lateral filing is possible thanks to Jalema's unique suspension point - made of solid stainless steel - with which the files hang on the profile. A simple movement of the hand (a pendulum-like motion) is all it takes to hang the files on or remove them from the profile. Another advantage of lateral filing is that it makes possible to use Jalema's sophisticated and timesaving color-coding systems.

Benton Graphics will be exhibiting their family of steel doctor blade products for the label printing market, including Ultimeter and the PRS Hand-Held Anilox Cleaner.

Benton will be showing their full line-up of premium doctor blades at booth #454 including the Ultimeter blade line. Ultimeter tests have shown up to 57% longer blade life when compared to conventional carbon steels. This material has an ultra clean, ultra fine -grain structure and is available in .006", .008", and .010".

PRS hand held anilox cleaner - These products are designed to aid in the removal of ink that is embedded in the cells or artwork of the roller. The easy to use PRS is air powered. Its orbital action and fine-wired brush provides the mechanical agitation without tiring hand scrubbing. Available with stainless, brass, or horsehair brushes and in single or dual brush models.

GSA (Golden Steel Alloy) blade material - This tool steel alloy is one of the most expensive materials used for doctor blades. However, it is a problem solver when the metering substance or the roller is extremely abrasive.

3M Shows New E1020 and 2205 Easy Mount Products with Micro-channeled Adhesive System for Reducing Air Entrapment

3M will be showing at booth number 5805 their family of Easy Mount products currently consisting of E1020, a 20 mil thick cushion stickyback and 2205, a 5 mil thick adhesive transfer mounting tape. Both these products are manufactured with a micro-channeled adhesive system that allows air to escape during the mounting process to reduce air entrapment - thus saving time and improving print quality on press.

Tesa offers a full line of adhesive tapes for label printing applications ranging from plate mounting to roller wrapping to splicing.

Tesa, at booth #5502 will be showing their most recent innovation, tesa 52017 Steelmaster, a 15-mil flexographic platemounting tape for process printing. Its attributes include excellent print quality and easy application methods.

The company has also launched tesa 52015 Steelmaster, a 15-mil platemounting tape ideal for the most critical combination print applications.

These new products are another example of tesa's commitment to the label printing industry.
