APR and LOHMANN TECHNOLOGIES introduce...DuploFLEX, a line of compressible foam plate mounting tapes.

LOHMANN, a pioneer in compressible foam plate mounting tape technology, has expanded their product line. DuploFLEX was designed to meet the needs of today's flexographic printers, including combination print.

DuploFLEX tapes are available in four levels of compressibility:

• DuploFLEX 5.1 - soft foam for delicate process work
• DuploFLEX 5.2 - medium soft foam for screen work, fine type
• DuploFLEX 5.3 - medium firm foam for line work, reverse print, combination print
• DuploFLEX 5.4 - firm foam for solids

DuploFLEX features color-coded foams for easy product recognition. The foam is supported on both sides with a PE film layer to ensure tighter gauge control and clean removal. Also, a new liner and a new proprietary adhesive system results in ease of tape application and plate mounting. Initial results have shown virtual bubble-free mounting.

In addition, LOHMANN continues to be an industry leader with their Quality Assurance Program, which includes clearly marking the roll thickness on the box and core of every roll shipped.
