Flint Group nyloflex Photopolymer Plates

Flint Group nylosolv A, photopolymer platemaking washout solvent is an advanced solution for processing virtually all photopolymer plate types fast and with low V.O.C. emissions and odors. He higher flashpoint of nylosolv A allows for processing at higher temperatures and shorter process times. Faster washout times cause less polymer swelling and thus result in shorter drying times.

Nylosolv A washout solvent is a component mixture of low toxicity hydrocarbons and alcohol.

  • Easy to distill and use
  • No balancing required after distillation.
  • Produces consistent washout results
  • Flashpoint greater than 141 degrees F.

Reclaiming nylosolv A requires a simple distillation of saturated solvent and allows for continuous distillation operations. A 55-gallon drum of nylosolv A solvent will typically require only five gallons of fresh solvent to restore the entire volume of the drum.
