nyloprint® / nyloprint® gravure for Pad Printing

Transfer-pad printing with top results; nyloprint® and nyloprint® gravure for tailored solutions
Extremely small type, uneven surfaces, high printing speeds - all this is easily handled by transfer-pad printing. Glass, porcelain, enamel or ceramic: the range of possible applications is virtually unlimited. And with the Flint Group assortment of products for transfer-pad printing, comprising plates and respective processing equipment, you get solutions tailored to suit any requirement.
The optimum for short and medium-length runs: nyloprint®
In short runs, the excellent price/performance ratio of nyloprint® plates becomes particularly evident - as well as the high fidelity of reproduction and the extremely high resolution that ensures exact transfer of the smallest details, plus, of course, the fast and problem-free platemaking - most easily done with all normal nyloprint® processing units. If the image to be printed requires doctor-blade-supporting screen lines or dots, the nyloprint® plate is screened. For unscreened subjects, we offer the special nyloprint® S30.
Ideal for long runs: nyloprint® gravure
With nyloprint® gravure plates you are assured of top-quality printing results. Their resolution is extremely high. The polymer is particularly abrasion-resistant, thus good for run lengths which normally only steel plates can last. And when exposure is done with an MH lamp, the screen depths are easily variable in setting by using depth exposure. In this way, you are able to optimize the quantity of ink transfer to suit the material being printed - and achieve an extraordinarily wide tonal range. And: in the nylograv plate line you also find a ceramic specialist, the nyloprint® gravure ST52K type, with which extra-deep cells are possible.
Basic Principles of Pad Printing

The plate is doctor-bladed.

The pad takes the ink from the plate.

The pad is positioned over the product to be printed.

The image is impressed on the product.

The plate is flooded with ink via flooding blade. Excess ink is removed from the plate surface by the doctor blade.
