Files
The heart of the Grafi-System - the total filing solution for the graphic arts industry -
consists of extremely durable and multifunctional files in a wide range of formats and designs.
Because these files are filed laterally, that is diagonally, on a profile, they save up to 40%
of the space taken up by traditional storage systems. Compared to filing cabinets, for example,
you can store 3 to 4 times more files with the Grafi-System in the same amount of floor space.
What's more, it is easier and faster to find the file you need when you need it.
Space-saving lateral filing is possible thanks to Jalema's unique single point of suspension.
The files are held on the profile-bar with a solid stainless steel hook which allows the file
to be removed with a simple one-handed movement (a pendulum-like motion). Another advantage of
lateral filing is the use of Jalema's sophisticated and time-saving color coding system (Codetabs or Code in One).

Job-files
Dust, creases, folds and scratches are disastrous to all visual materials.
The job-file series was specially developed to prevent such damage. These files feature
both a normal pocket and a second pocket with a dust flap. In this way, you can keep your
films / plates dust free and separate from other working materials while filing them as a
single project in a single file. The formats are tailored to the most common printing press
formats. The Job-Files are constructed of brown whitekraft cardboard and have a smooth white
inner surface. The files are equipped with a single stainless steel suspension point and a clear
imprint. The largest format job-files (5262200 & 5280000) are constructed of a super heavy duty
300 gram brown colored whitekraft cardboard. The largest (5280000) comes with a single pocket
protected by a dust flap.

Repro-files |
Repro-files are equal to the Job-files but with a few minor differences. They are constructed of heavier cardboard
(335-gram Tenax cardboard) and come in gray and blue. The Repro-files are sturdier and stronger and have two pockets.

Grafi-files
The pre-press Grafi-files are specially designed to ensure an orderly and smooth workflow
between departments. The various Grafi-file designs all have their own special features,
tailored to the different storage requirements and different types of materials being stored,
from slides and photographs to sketches, proofs, visual aids and props.
The four functional Grafi-file designs are the "Pocket-file" (in A3 and A4 formats and ideal
for internal media transport), the "Collect-file" (the perfect storage solution for one or
more Pocket-files), the "Multi-file" (the universal A4 file for keeping desks orderly) and
the "Design-file".
All files in the Grafi-file programme are constructed of 280-gram Colorkraft cardboard, come
in the color blue, and have a suitable imprint.

Pocket-file
The Pocket-file is available in A4 and A3 formats and ideal for the (temporary) storage and
internal transport of artwork, slides, photographs, proofs, layouts and other intermediate
materials. The Pocket-file can be used as a separate file or a file within a file (in the
Collect-file for example) and is equipped with a soufflet fastener on the left and right-hand
sides and a spacious flap for optimal accessibility.
Collect-file
The Collect-file (in A4 and A3 formats) is the perfect file for storing one or more Pocket-files
and is ideal for keeping other inner files, catalogues and reference material orderly. The
Collect-file remains hanging on the profile in principle and therefore has a soufflet on the back
to prevent the contents from falling out.
Multi-file
This universal A4 file keeps desks neatly arranged and produces order out of chaotic workplaces.
It is the ideal order or project file and comes with a storage pocket for loose materials and a
convenient JalemaClip attachment mechanism. Unlike document files, JalemaClip files are never
thicker than their contents, and documents can be easily inserted and removed. Documents held
together with a JalemaClip can be leafed through like a book and copied without having to remove the sheet.
Design-file
The Design-file measures 485 x 570 mm, has an unparalleled storage capacity and is ideal for working
drawings, visual aids and other fragile or "thick" materials. The Design-file is equipped halfway on
the back and front with a linen soufflet, giving this file a capacity of no less than 30 mm.
