Kodak Recording 2000 Film
Precision hard dots. Hard dots did not even exist until the debut of the original hard-dot
film--Kodak Recording 2000 Film. Since 1993, this fourth-generation
recording film has been praised for delivering the hardest dots under the sun.
Through Integrated Booster Technology (IBT), Recording 2000 Films create
rock-hard dots along with built-in linearity. And now a good thing just got
better. The latest Recording 2000 Films offer even better processing performance,
and even faster sensitivity for selected lasers.
Proofing and plate-making control
Theres no need to worry about accurate reproduction of proofs and plates
with Recording 2000 Films. Their edge acuity and high density ensure a sharp,
clean final print that will match what the customer saw on the proof. And that
should make you both happy.
Flexibility
The newest film in the arsenal--Kodak Recording 2000 RRD Film--incorporates a
multispectral response that is suitable for both helium neon (HN) or red laser
diode (RLD) laser devices. Its never been easier to choose one film that
operates on all of your different recording devices.
Process latitude
Recording 2000 Films offer excellent processing latitude and consistency for
more predictable results in many types of deep and shallow tank processors.
High-resolution stochastic screening
Excellent resolution at fine screen rulings makes Recording 2000 Films a
superb match for stochastic screening applications. They also provide accurate
reproduction of the finest detail during proofing and plate making.
Added protection
Antistatic protection and low sensitivity to scratching reduce the chance of
scratches and pinholes that lead to costly remakes, which waste your time and
money.
Convenient roomlight loading package
A new easy-feed package design allows you to conveniently load film rolls
into a cassette under ambient lighting, eliminating the need for a darkroom.
New replenisher reduces chemical use
New Kodak RA 2050 Replenisher is available as an optional replenishing solution
that can reduce chemical use by 50 percent and save you money, too. RA 2050
is a specially formulated replenisher intended for medium- to high-volume film
applications.
