Mekrom Exposure 5280

For plate size 52 x 80 in (132 x 203 cm). The Concept 5280 exposure unit is fitted with new key features which offer an excellent light intensity uniformity over the whole exposure area of the plate. A lamp temperature regulation system provides high consistency from plate to plate. The new automatic lid system allows quick, easy and safe operation, as well as large access to the unit on 3 full sides. The unit is equipped with 2 drawers for storage of material.

Practical

This new designed large size exposure offers real full access on 3 sides for working convenience. It is equipped with 2 storage drawers for film or material. The complete exposure cycle is automatic and provides high performance in terms of quality and productivity.

Easy maintenance

The unit requires very low maintenance. All components are easily accessible; the bottom lamp drawer is mounted on pneumatic system and allows easy replacement of lamps. All functions and test programs are accessible from the control panel.

High performance

This exposure unit has a unique control and regulation system that allows very high performance. Not only the lamps temperature is controlled and regulated, but plates are automatically exposed only when selected temperature is reached. This provides excellent consistency and uniformity from plate to plate, and within the plate.

Safe

The unit is fully equipped with safety controls, such as the air switch all around the automatic lid. The lid can close only if free of any obstacle and if air pressure is high enough. Otherwise the lid cannot close, and will automatically go or stay in full open position. Lamps switch ON only when the lid is down

Full control

Separate light integrators for back and main exposure, separate temperature regulation for back and main exposure, 9 memory channels for each back and main exposure, minimum temperature level for starting exposure, vacuum level on display, etc... the unit operates in full automatic mode, but can be switched in manual mode.
