Mekrom VU 70
70 liter tank capacity vacuum unit, for use with
solvent recovery unit SRU 62.
The VU 70 vacuum unit is easily connected to the recovery unit by means of a single teflon
tube and can be added to existing SRU 62 systems. This vacuum unit is necessary for
recovery of non chlorinated solvents. These solvents have normally high boiling
temperatures. Vacuum reduces those temperatures and allows recovery of non
chlorinated solvents.
Level control
The vacuum unit is equipped with seperate gauges for controlling the air pressure,
the vacuum level and also the fresh solvent level into the tank.
Resistant
The unit consists of a main tank in stainless steel, resistant to high vacuum and
high pressure level, plus the operation and control components. It is directly
connected to the recovery unit (SRU) and will produce the vacuum necessary to
reduce the boiling temperature of the non chlorinated solvents.
Venturi system
A venturi system produces the vacuum from pressurized air. Levels of both air
pressure and vacuum can be controlled, regulated and visualized. After the solvent
recovery cycle is finished, the fresh solvent can be automatically transferred to
any solvent tank or barrel by the means of air pressure.
