Navigator RIP
Xitron's Navigator RIP is based on the core technology of Global Graphics Harlequin
RIP. With Xitron's own interface cards Navigator is the fastest RIP on the market
driving over 150 output devices and proofers.
Navigator XPR
Xitron's Navigator XPR has all the power of Global Graphics Harlequin PostScript 3
interpreter, with a maximum resolution of 1440dpi designed for color printer
output. The Navigator XPR is currently offered to drive Epson Stylus Pro, HP
DesignJet, Encad proofers and more.
Proofing Plugins
The same Navigator RIP can drive your final output device and a proofer with a
Proofing plugin from Xitron. Supported devices include: Epson Stylus 2200/2100,
7600, 9600 and 10600, HP DesignJet 1050, 1055, 2000, 2500, 3000 and 5000; Mutoh,
Encad and more.
TrapPro
TrapPro is a new optional trapping engine that uses the efficient Harlequin Display
List to trap RLE (raster) objects. The application follows all the Adobe® PostScript®
3 in-RIP trapping standards and is extremely fast.
FirstPROOF
FirstPROOF remote roam client for the Harlequin RIP.
Additional Options
Additional options available for Navigator RIPs include: TrapPro in-RIP Trapping,
HDS Screens, TIFF/IT input and output plugins, CIP3, and Proofing plugins
Page Features
Additional options called Page Features, which can be selected in the Page Setup
dialog box, are available to enhance the functionality of your Navigater RIP.
In addition, Xitron can write custom page features.
