Environmentally Responsible

The time is now upon us to become the environmentally responsible members of society that we thought we were. If you have watched the USEPA and other such organizations over the last decade, you are aware that the controls they have established are (at this time) not found in Canadian Law. A common rebuttal to the newly proposed Canadian Laws that mimic the US Laws is that we will see massive Canadian plant closures, or moves of current Canadian production to sibling US based plants. That could happen in some cases, but I look at the situation in a unique way. Why not use the proposed legislation as a method to become better printers and converters?

Yes, I was injured last summer, but my thinking has never been more clear, and if you will read on, you will understand how this all works, and this is not as a result of any injuries. Bottom line, the additional exhaust handling equipment we might require will have little or no effect on printing, but everything else will. It is not so simple as to add exhaust equipment, but we must also operate in a correct manner as well.
