About the SA-V/TVB

The new SA-V/TVB machine has been engineered to produce high barrier shrink bags with straight/curved bottom seal and side seal, with stack or taped-fan-like collection.

The machine has been designed with the most advanced technology, with the aim of reducing and facilitating the changeover time.

The machine is fully equipped with Siemens components and it is entirely controlled by a state-of-the-art HMI based on Profinet®, one of the most advanced communication protocols, that allows controlling each of the installed stations/tools independently and in real time.

The SA-V/TVB has been engineered with independent and plug & play stations that enable the machine to offer customized solutions, according to different production requirements; the machine configuration can be upgraded at any time, to face new unpredictable market demands.

ELBA is always focused on its customers’ needs and, as energy costs are expensive variables for all the manufacturers, the SA-V/TVB has been engineered with dedicated components that allow recovering the kinetic energy.

SA-U: Universal Machine for the Production of Bags

The SA-U is designed for manufacturing a wide range of PE bags, such as the following:

• Bags with both bottom and side sealing
• Gusseted bags
• Boutique, STEB, courier, heavy-duty, security bags, etc.

About the SA-U

The SA-U is considered a universal bag-making machine, as it can be fully customized to be capable of producing a wide range of bags, such as bottom/side seal bags, gusseted bags, boutique bags, STEB, courier bags, heavy-duty bags, and much more.

The modular design of the SA-U machine allows offering tailor-made solutions to ELBA customers, with a wide range of accessories, such as string zipper insertion system, flexi loop or patch handle system, wave top cutting unit, rigid handle, etc. Some of them, like the flexi loop and the patch handle stations, can be installed on the same machine, thus giving the customers the possibility of manufacturing different types of bags.

Each station is independent, fully servo-driven, and plug & play, and the machine configuration can be upgraded at any time to face new unpredictable market demands.

The SA-U is equipped with the latest version of Siemens components and a state-of-the-art HMI (based on Siemens Profinet®) that allows the machine to be easily set, save thousands of different recipes, and simultaneously monitor each component of the machine, with complete control of the sealing process.

To meet different customers’ needs, the SA-U machine is offered in four sealing widths: 650 mm (25.6”), 950 mm (37.4”), 1250 mm (49.2”), and 1550 mm (61”). Easy operation, fast set-up time, reduced scraps, and low/easy maintenance are all part of the characteristics of the SA-U machine, which makes it a profitable and reliable investment with a short payback period.

Moreover, the SA-U machine is equipped with a remote assistance protocol to support customers in case of new machine setup or troubleshooting.

About the SA-W

The SA-W machine has been designed to produce a wide range of wicket bags like bottom gusseted bags, bread bags, chicken bags, hygienic bags, and diaper bags (both with cross handles or paramount shape). The machine design offers the customer a really high flexibility in both bag types and sizes to maximize the investment with a short-term payback.

The SA-W is fully servo driven and equipped with the latest state-of-the-art components that, controlled by an HMI based on Siemens Profinet® protocol, allow independent control in real time for each of the installed stations/tools.

As set-up and changeover time are critical, Elba designed the SA-W model to grant short and easy job changing. The machine's new frame design allows easy accessibility for set up and maintenance.
