New and Improved Techkon ChromaQA

Released in May 2017, Techkon ChromaQA Client/Server solution for pressroom color management has been complete revamped.

It is now Cloud-Hosted via Amazon Server (it is NOT available as self-hosted).

Key Changes:

ChromaQA Dashboard

• InkCheck feature that offers density based adjustment recommendations to improve Delta-E
• Up to 8 process colors and 8 spot colors per job (total of 16 colors) – includes variable tint measures for both process and spot colors.
• Incorporates SCTV for spot color tint measurements in July 2017.
• Different User Levels - customizable for admin access or different levels of user access
• ColorEnsure - automatically configures all connected SpectroDens to exactly match measurement conditions specified in the job per admin specs
• Can export color out of Spec module to Colibri to reformulate ink
• Can track measurements as make-ready or production mode
• For G7 jobs it will include a tab to SEE if you pass G7 requirements - it does not replace Curve3/4 for telling operator curve adjustments to meet G7 requirements

Each license includes 5 Modules:

• Chroma Admin - Administer program settings
• Chroma Spec - Create or edit a print job - can customize fields needed for collecting job specs and import colors to build measurement strips
• Chroma Press - Run a print job - customizable dashboard with graphs and indicators to help the press operator
• Chroma Reports - Create a print job report - customizable templates you can save, print and share
• Chroma Standards - Manage color standards - ISO & G7 built-in aim & tolerance values
