APR to Offer Elite Printer Workshop October 23-25

All Printing Resources (APR) announces that the company will hold a two-day seminar designed to take converters' production efficiencies and print quality to the next level. The Elite Printer Workshop will take place October 23-25 at the company's Glendale Heights, IL Technology Center. The seminar is open to all printers and converters and will provide highest-level technical training targeted at a range of company job functions including sales, marketing, customer service, design, prepress and management.

Attendees will explore what it takes for converters to push the limits of 4-color and 7-color process printing. This includes how running to standards like G7 and enforcing process control procedures enable companies to raise their print quality standards to new levels.

Sessions topics will include considerations for design and prepress conversions, press fingerprinting and characterization, and process control from prepress into the pressroom. Each day will feature live flexo demonstrations, walking attendees through the characterization and fingerprinting process. Presenters will review how measurements are utilized for image optimization, proofing, and color management.

Dave Nieman, President and CEO of APR, comments, "APR's research among brand owners and packaging buyers reveals that the top reasons companies select label and flexible packaging vendors is due to print quality, color matching, and job-to-job repeatability. To differentiate themselves, converters must continually strive to be elite by maximizing production efficiencies while ensuring process optimization. The rise in digitally printed throughput has created a more competitive environment than ever before and learning how to make conventional presses perform at their highest level is essential to flexo converters' success."
