The advantage of using matrices instead of linear scanning systems is primarily in the increased production speed when exposing the plates. With exposure to distributed light from a matrix system, plates can be polymerized in only a few minutes, as their entire surface is exposed simultaneously. As a result, our LED system yields shorter exposure times compared to any other scanning LED system or fluorescent lamps unit.
