XL-Cut is part of the Digital Flexo Suite. XL-Cut control files will be generated for cutting support on XL tables and for ID plotting assisting in the collection of patches for different jobs.
XL-Cut makes sure that:
- Less material is wasted: hand trimming requires .25" (6mm) to .5" (12mm) waste to allow for manual cutting inaccuracies. XL-Cut trims plates within .125" (3mm) from print information.
- Higher accuracy: human errors are eliminated.
- Efficiency is boosted: cutting complex plates on the Kongsberg saves 30%-70% of the time taken to trim plates manually.
