Reduce costs
PlatePatcher divides large format layouts into a number ofsmallest-size plate patches, either fully automatic or under visual operator control. By auto-placing these patches on a small-format flexo plate, plate wastage is dramatically reduced. No extra work on the repro side is needed, because crossmarks and reference codes for identification as well as for further processing are automatically added by PlatePatcher.
Save time
Once imaged and processed, cut the flexo plate automatically into the individual patches again by using an Esko Kongsberg cutting table. PlatePatcher offersthe control file. To ensure an efficient workflow PlatePatcher also creates CAD control files todrive camera-supported post-mounting systems for your flat- or round-mounting system. PlatePatcher significantly reduces the mounting time and adds maximum safety to the post mounting process. On average, you save 20 minutes per color for a typical 4-color job, thus saving up to about 80 minutes for the entire job.
