Results have proven that a more "hands-free" approach to photopolymer plate cleaning not only offers excellent cleaning capability for hard-to-clean reverse areas and screens but also reduces plate damage and offers unsurpassed consistency in cleaning as well. Designed for efficient automated cleaning of either letterpress or flexo plates, these units are designed to automate and improve productivity and performance.

The process steps are simple - the APC units clean, rinse, and dry the plate inline.
APC Automatic Plate Washer Features:
- The dirty photopolymer plate is automatically carried into processor by the transfer rollers.
- Transport speed and temperature controlled by the computer for consistency.
- The APC line is equipped with two brushes with alternating and floating movement for maximum cleaning capability, while ensuring no damage occurs to the plate.
- Temperature inside the solvent drum precisely regulated via the heater.
- Various washing solutions available. Many will clean solvent, UV, and water-based inks with just one washout solution.
- Two types of rinsing systems are available - an open rinse system with fresh water that is led to a drain and a closed loop recirculation system.
