As defined by the FTA:
Flexo Press Operator (Level II)
The "Flexo Press Operator" should have two years of press experience to be eligible for the test, but more importantly, this candidate must master a higher level of technical skills that relate to a capable printer assistant. The person must also raise his/her level of leadership and interpersonal skills to an appropriate position of respect.
APR is honored to be approved to proctor the examination and offers a two-day review courses designed to be taken just prior to taking the exam. All APR trainers have been Classified and Certified as "Expert Level Press Operators" by the NCSS.
Pre-requisites: FTA recommends 2 years on press.

$495.00 per person for an FTA Member
$795.00 per person for a Non-Member
Enrollment is limited to 10 participants. Your fee includes a review of skills for Level II in preparation for certification exam, FTA exam fees, one copy of Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications & Tolerances (FIRST text) with CD-ROM and daily lunches and beverages. The schedule for each day is 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. On the second day, participants will start the exam by 1 p.m. and can expect to be finished by 3:30 p.m. or sooner.
This program is periodically offered at our facility in Glendale Heights, IL; however, we can also come to your facility.
