Expert Flexo Press Operator (Level IV)
The "Expert Flexo Press Operator" is the ultimate position of achievement in the Flexographic printing industry. This achievement requires five years of experience as a lead press operator, who has mastered the core skills, as defined by the National Council for Skill Standards. They must understand the workflow characteristics of the printing process, comprehend the broad aspects of the industry, and the financial results of their actions. Labor laws, safety practices, and environmental regulations must be understood. Certification provided by NCSS.

The National Skill Standard Board was established after The U.S. Departments of Education and Labor joined together to develop voluntary skill standards, benchmarked to the highest standards of America's International Competitors.

The purpose of the Expert Flexo Press Operator Certification program is to review, test and certify "Expert Level" Flexo Press Operators in the Flexographic Industry.
